Welcome to Hill Crest Canine Country Club! My name is Britany Long and I am a the business owner/founder/ of Hill Crest Canine as well as being a lifelong animal lover, entrepreneur and resident of Columbia County, PA. I have been in dogs since the age of 7 years when I started training my first show dog Macy. Since then, my love of dogs has blossomed to the point that I continue to show my own dogs to this day. Growing up in the show world, I was mentored by some of the best dog people in the business. I was given wonderful opportunities to learn about dogs from the medical, husbandry and training sides.

I am a 2008 graduate of Susquehanna University with a degree in Biopsychology and a minor in entrepreneurship. While there, I had completed a fellowship at Bucknell University in their animal behavior department accomplishing the world’s largest study ever completed on dog over marking behavior. I regularly continue my education taking seminars and online classes in ethology as well as more specialized courses on anything canine.

In 2008 I established Hill Crest Canine Country Club in Mifflinville, PA. That location featured grooming, training and daycare services. As the business started to expand, I decided to add dog boarding to my list of services and purchased my current location in Catawissa.
